The UK’s largest consumer products testing company, 4-Front Research, is set to extend its operations even further with the opening of a new facility in India.
Offering both clinical and laboratory capabilities, the site is equipped to western standards and all training, including ICH GCP, is under the close supervision of 4-Front’s UK Operations.
The Indian team is headed up by Professor Sreenatha Reddy, the former Dean of Osmania Medical College, and will provide research services in the areas of Personal Care, Oral Care and Nutrition.
The site is based in central Hyderabad, which is the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh; with more than 6.4 million people it is India's 6th largest metropolis. 
Managing Director, Jon Holt, announced that “India is in one of the worlds fastest growing markets and is an attractive destination for clinical research for a myriad of reasons. There is the obvious attraction of reduced costs, but local credibility with consumers, regulators and academia has resulted in our customers expressing an increased desire to run research studies in India, which we are now in a strong position to cater for”.
